π Use each reference for what it can actually teach.
OUR REFERENCES
π Look closely at the original
πTAP 2 READ ALONG
πAn original drawing can teach us something that a long description misses.
π Look at Brain Buddyβs lines, the edge of a label, or the shadow beneath a paper tag.
π Each source helps answer a particular question.
π Keep its context and newer corrections nearby, so a useful example becomes a thoughtful starting point for your own work.

π These references help us understand the choices on the page.
π One supports a typeface, another a pencil texture, and another the way a card corner is built.
π Use each for the detail it actually shows.
π A clear source note helps someone learn from the example without overreading it.

πCurrent design system: typography reference identifies Komika for Brain Buddy chat bubbles; page font definitions include Komika, Chalkduster, EmbossT1, PixelGamer, and Gaposiss. The installed Komika font file is KOMIKAP_.ttf. This self-contained guide bundles the actual Avenir and Times New Roman font faces, including bold and italic, so its typography does not depend on those fonts being installed on the viewing device. All seven design font families travel with the guide. Browser smoothing can vary; verify font loading and layout on each destination. A separate app or template needs the same font assets and role mapping. Original brand-board sheet 085 is embedded in Materials and demonstrates informative pencil icons. Foundations β Communication Design was also checked for gray hierarchy, semantic color, letter effects, emoji grammar, and contextual palette use.
πGrant Garden: exact corner painter and distinct Power-Up / brand-rainbow palettes inspected September 12. Power-Up ends in unifying blue; the current Communication Design principle display instead includes Harmony purple. This guideβs handwriting border follows the requested Garden example.

πΌοΈ Original source sheets help us compare the animation worlds.

πΌοΈ These sheets show three views of the animation journey: Brain Buddyβs character, the human outline, and the exterior world.
πΌοΈ Brain Buddyβs character, the human outline, and the exterior world each have a distinct drawing language.
πΌοΈ Notice what changes as we move inward and what keeps the journey connected.
πΌοΈ A temporary source can still teach a detail, provided its status stays clear.
π The sheets are embedded unchanged. A βTEMPβ asset stays identified as temporary; it is evidence of the style, not blanket approval of a final asset.

π Visible open questions keep a useful draft from becoming an accidental rule.

π A useful guide can still have questions worth exploring.
π Some scenes need another example, and some names or boundaries need a clearer decision.
πKeep those openings visible so the next conversation has somewhere useful to begin.
π Uncertainty can help us choose what to learn next.

π Selected original Keynotes and the older Claude design project. The Claude project and its Chat Bubbles library were opened and inspected on September 12. The bubble contour, pencil filter, and Komika treatment inform the Type specimen, with the creatorβs latest transparent interior and open-join corrections; the remaining Keynote examples still need individual inspection.

π οΈ HOW THIS CONTINUES IN THE ECOSYSTEM
π The existing PlayΒ·Packet communication module owns the expression-role map; this guide demonstrates it and the checklist tracks its application.
π A future authorized Shadow review can recover, compare, and propose refinements against that reference, preserving creator approval and a dated source trail.
π These revised lessons use Samantha device narration; expression, recorded sound, and creator approval are separate.
